White Star Line plate

A white plate with a blue and gold rim

An elegant item, featuring the mark of the famous Liverpool-based White Star Line. The company merged and became Cunard in 1934. This Spode plate bears its insignia and an elegant navy and gold rim.

Nanking tea cup and saucer

Blue and white pottery

In 1752, the Dutch East India Company’s Nanking sank in the South China Sea. Along with 80 crew, its cargo of porcelain was lost. The wreck was discovered in 1985 and its cargo recovered, before being sold at auction. This delicate cup and saucer, in blue and white, still bears its auction house sticker.

Poole Pottery

Colourful pottery

These colourful collectables are a must. These particular items date to the 1970s, but the brand itself was established in 1873, in Dorset.

Babycham glasses

Glasses with a deer logo

The party-favourite fizz tasted best when served in its own special glasses. The famous logo changes, depending on when the item was made and these date to the 1970s. Tres chic!

Two-thirds publicly funded, Mountbatten Hampshire supports over 1,600 people on any one day, through its 24/7 hospice, as well as community care and bereavement support.

Honiton Pottery lamp bases

Brown lamps

Honiton Pottery is famed for its earthenware and was especially popular in the 1930s. These two earthy-coloured collectible lamp bases date to the 1970s.

Orrefors platter

A glass platter

Established in the early 1900s, Swedish glass maker Orrefors is highly sought-after. This fine glass platter would grace a sideboard (we sell those too!). Why not cover it with tasty canapes?
